Information Content
OM-Series maps present the results of geologic studies that apply particularly to area of known or potential petroleum resources. Typical products include geologic maps and cross sections, columnar sections, structure contours, correlation diagrams, and data on welss drilled for oil and gas in the mapped area. Most
of the maps in this series were published before 1965.
